Donald Washington (sax) has been a major icon among Philadelphia area musicians with over fifty years of playing with the likes of Nat 'King' Cole, B. B. King, Horace Silver and many others.

He toured the Caribbean region with "The Marlboro Men" in the 1970's and in the 1980's he was music director for the "Al Copeland Review"

Students of his include Grover Washington, Charles Franbrough and George Howard.

Kenny Gates

Kenny Gates (piano) started piano lessons when he was nine. He continued on to the The Brooklyn Conservatory of Music and then to Hunter College. He spent much time with the legendary Eubie Blake during his younger years and was a student of renowned pianist, Barry Harris.

He has worked with Bill Hardman, Sonny Red, Louis Hayes and in the Philadelphia region with Bootsie Barns, Mickey Roker and Odean Pope among others.

He is a teacher at the Mill Creek Cultural Center and the Philadelphia Clef Club.

Wayne Morgan (drums) has played with many groups and soloists including Bobby Peterson, Charles Earland, Grover Washington, New Birth, Vibrations, Tony Alison as well as many others
